People’s Opinion on growing list of Indian-Origin CEOs leading US firms
After slamming Jack Dorsey on his resignation from Twitter, Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram story to hail actor Anupam Kher’s post that read, “Padhega India tabhi toh badhega America” in light of netizens celebrating Indian-American tech bosses in several top companies around the globe.
With this type of reaction, we can totally agree with the fact that many are not at all happy with this trend of Indian becoming CEOs of US firms. And the only reason behind is, with the rise of personalities like Pichai, Nadella, and Narayen, and now Parag, questions about India’s own technology ambitions are being raised. With Indians filling the executive ranks in so many foreign companies, why hasn’t India developed its own Google till now? Where is India’s Microsoft? Why is it that a company like Apple isn’t born in India till now?
